Justine Skye’s flattering melanin skin is hard to keep your eyes off of in the official video for “Twisted Fantasy” featuring Rema.
Directed by Alex Nazari, the video starts with Skye strutting through an uninhabited wilderness. She eventually ends her fleeting trek and enters a portal that takes her to a dimension where braids connect her to a ring of brown-skin girls seated at a bar. The ladies move from their stations and dance it out in the middle of the floor.
Captured next in Nazari’s camera lens is Rema, who steps inside the tavern to whisper his melodic verse in Skye’s ear. All this happens before Skye returns to her grassland world to lay down a spicy freestyle of a likely future track.
“Twisted Fantasy” is the second offering from Skye’s upcoming project Space & Time, out June 25 via Nynetineth LLC. The follow-up to last year’s Bare With Me (The Album) was produced entirely by Timbaland, and it will include February’s code-cracked “Intruded.”
