What To Know
- Jordan Wiseley is staging a “comeback” toThe Challenge.
- The multi-season champion had harsh words for the show after his last season.
The Challenge Season 42 has yet to arrive on Paramount+, but already, one contender for the title of “Greatest of All Time” on the show is looking ahead to Season 43 … if he can make it back onto the show, that is.
Jordan Wiseley — who won four seasons (Battle of the Exes II, Dirty 30, War of the Worlds 2, and, most recently, Battle of the Eras) — has now indicated his desire to return to the show after a somewhat chaotic exit after Season 40.
The formerChallenge star-turned-professional racecar driver and actor shared his desire to make a comeback to the show on Instagram. Alongside a video of himself training with weights, he wrote, “6 miles then this lil superset. It’s time, another comeback starts now. Been seeing a lot of mediocrity in my absence and it appears they need a capable example. I shall undertake this task once again #goatseason#43.”
Among those fellowThe Challenge alums to show support for his effort were Zach Nichols, Paulie Calafiore, and Yeremi Hykel.
Since then, Wiseley has continued to post videos of himself working out with the hashtag “#43,” indicating his interest in joining The Challenge Season 43. He even reunited with fellow series all-timer Darrell Taylor on a major mountain run to simulate a “final.”
The videos are reminiscent of what Chris “C.T.” Tamburello did ahead of Season 42.
Wiseley’s interest in returning to the show might come as a surprise to some fans, though, considering what he had to say about the show after his most recent season, which he won.
In 2024, he made a bold claim on Instagram when he wrote, “When I say ‘a challenge house is one of the worst environments to be in’ I’m not exaggerating. This one was by far the worst treatment we’ve ever received as a cast and it’s taken a toll.”
In a video accompanying that caption, he added, “Most people think that we go into a Challenge house, and we just work out all the time and turn into savages. No, the entire time you’re in there, you’re losing shape. We are treated like s**t, we sleep like s**t, we are fed like s**t, our schedules are dog s**t: 20-hour days like nothing, so we just lose shape. Doesn’t matter how long you’re there, doesn’t matter two weeks, you are going to come out depressed, looking like s**t.”
He later claimed that The Challenge producers blocked him from participating in The Traitors and exercised “power abuse” in the process.
Wiseley was not part of Season 41 and is not expected to be part of the as-yet-unofficially-announced cast of 42 either. So, should he be asked back for Season 43? Why or why not? Hit the comments below with your thoughts.
