Durand Bernarr is on an immaculate run. Following his first Grammy win in February, the multifaceted entertainer has announced his fourth studio album,BERNARR., arriving May 1 via Create Music Group.
“BERNARR. 05.01.26. Pre-Save Now. Link in Bio,” he posted across his socials, along with the cover art that sees him channeling the iconic, leaned-back R&B pose.
According to press materials, BERNARR. is “self-titled in tribute to his father, Bernarr Ferebee Sr.,” and “celebrates family legacy, musical lineage and Durand’s evolution as a vocalist, writer and producer.”
BERNARR.will follow Bernarr’s Grammy-winning album,BLOOM, which won Best Progressive R&B Album. His upcoming project will include the lead single, “Wild Ride,” featuring James Fauntleroy.
“‘Wild Ride’ is about being ready when the moment finds you,” he explained. “It’s about intention, knowing who you are, what you want and showing up fully when it matters most.”

In addition to Fauntleroy, the 17-track set features collaborations with singers BJ The Chicago Kid, Khalid and Sevyn Streeter, as well as rappers Big Sean and Vic Mensa.

For production, Bernarr has assembled an army of hitmakers, including Brian Alexander Morgan, Bryan-Michael Cox, James Fauntleroy, Johntá Austin, Raphael Saadiq and Troy Taylor.

Aside from some of the producers who also have songwriting credits — such as Austin, Cox, Fauntleroy, Saadiq and Taylor — Bernarr co-wrote songs with Kandi Burruss, Miguel, Sevyn Streeter, 4rest, b.kae, Choklate, Daniel Church, Desz, Dyo, Emma D, J Hart, Kareem James, Kaydence, and Tara Stinson.
