The former publicist extraordinaire and present day scientist and illustrious author Howard Bloom has just released an extraordinary video featuring Airship Caravan entitled “Since There Is No God.” Whilst often the subject of “No God” is viewed as a negative and scary thing, on the contrary, this song is a hopeful and inspirational themed message.
As a press agent considered the best on the planet having represented over 300 legendary artists including Prince, Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Joan Jett, Cyndi Lauper, Billy Joel, Billy Idol, Alice Cooper, Bette Midler, Queen, Run DMC, and a barrage of others, Howard believed and taught that one had to find the God within one’s self. In his best-selling book “The God Problem”, Howard takes you on a scientific journey into the secret heart of the cosmos and seeks to answer the question how a universe without God creates.
In “Since There is No God”, the modern times philosopher and visionary explains that “God is not a being. He’s an aspiration, a gift, a vision, a goal to seek.” He further illustrates that it is “our” job to do “His”, “Ours is the responsibility of making a cruel universe just.” Whether one believes in God or not, “Since There Is No God” is an interesting concept and explored in a colorful way.
The video is a glance at life forging ahead, aimed at the horizon. The master, the artist is shrouded in mystery, however, he’s not afraid to be honest, and to be himself. Perhaps most of us are what we accept, what we allow to be important, what we embrace about each other and ourselves. There is nothing better, there is nothing more hopeful, there is nothing else.
The video is intense, it’s deep, and yet there is a delicious aspects of entertainment embedded within it. It’s cool, it’s edgy, it’s urgent……
