TICKETS ON SALE NOW for Decibel’s 20th ANNIVERSARY SHOW Featuring AUTOPSY, IMMOLATION, HORRENDOUS & More!

Metal

Nearly four decades after their messy birth, California death metal legends Autopsy will make their long-anticipated filthy Philly debut with a suitably sick headline performance.

“Autopsy is revved up, bloodthirsty and ready to bring 100% horrific Death Metal to Decibel’s 20th anniversary bash in Philadelphia,” says drummer/vocalist Chris Reifert. “Come on out and go insane with us!”

Not to be outdone, northeast death metal kings Immolation will perform a special “First 20 Years” set in honor of the magazine’s 20-year run; progressive death dealers Horrendous celebrate the 10th anniversary of their Ecdysis release with a special full-album performance; epic doom-bringers Crypt Sermon will perform their new record, The Stygian Rose, in its entirety; U.S. black metal progenitors Krieg will manifest ritual horror, Deathevokation will raise a chalice to old-school death metal; and Philly powerhouse grunge gods Rid of Me round out the bill.

“We are proud to reveal an event that feels as momentous as our 20th anniversary itself,” says Decibel founder and editor in chief Albert Mudrian. “We’re eager to party in our hometown with some of our oldest and dearest friends. And, no, you’re not on the guest list.”

Ticket options—including All-Ages GA plus an extremely limited 21+ VIP option entitling purchasers early entry to the Pre-Show ‘Decibowl’ Reception as well as access to the elevated VIP Viewing Deck with seating + waitstaff—are on sale now. (VIP tickets are 21+ and limited to 76!)

‘Decibowl’ Pre-Show Reception will take place in the restaurant portion of Brooklyn Bowl Philly from 2pm to 4pm—come out and bowl with the bands, breweries, labels and Decibel staffers and enjoy one-hour early access to crowd-free merch shopping as well. (Decibowl Pre-Show tickets are 21+ and limited to 150—a small number of GA ticket upgrades will be made available, while supplies last!)
