Samm Henshaw Readies Debut Album, Shares New Song ‘Chicken Wings’

R&B

Samm Henshaw has saved a first-quarter release date for his debut album Untidy Soul. His first full-length release for AWAL arrives on January 28, 2022.

Henshaw previewed the upcoming LP with two earlier singles, including “Grow” and “Still Broke.” Both arrived with supporting videos.

“Chicken Wings,” produced by Ivan Jackson from Brasstracks, is the newest addition to the Untidy Soul track listing. Henshaw stretches out a bit in how he expresses a destined love connection, equating it to the crispy, finger-licking entree.

The British singer is set to embark on a mini-tour this November ahead of the album. The Sorry I’m So Late I Was Busy Doing Nothing shows will take place across the nation in three major cities, including New York, Atlanta, and Los Angeles.

In 2015, Henshaw released his debut EP, The Sound Experiment. A year later, he dropped the sequel.
