Mary J. Blige is on a roll. Her Vado-assisted single “Still Believe in Love” is No. 1 for a sixth consecutive week on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart.

It remains Blige’s longest-running No. 1 hit on this chart since 2016’s “Thick of It” from her album Strength of a Woman.

Here is a breakdown of all of Blige’s No. 1 hits on the Adult R&B Airplay chart:

“Still Believe in Love” was released Oct. 27, 2023, via Blige’s Beautiful Life Music. The feel-good track debuted at No. 28 on the Adult R&B Airplay chart dated Nov. 4, 2023, before reaching the top 10 later that month.

Before the year concluded, “Still Believe in Love” hit No. 1 in late December, where it’s been residing over the last several weeks.

While “Still Believe in Love” heats up the airwaves, Blige recently confirmed there’s more music on the way.

“I’m working on a project — something nice for my fans,” Blige said during an Audacy Check In with Big Tigger of Atlanta’s V-103. Blige stated that the project would arrive by this summer, though she did not announce a release date.

Blige also discussed the inspiration behind her latest hit. “I wrote [‘Still Believe in Love’] when I was fresh out of my divorce because I needed to say something different and something positive, other than what was going on in my life,” said Blige. “I had to believe in myself. The timing, the climate for the song was just perfect for right now. People need some positivity.”

Blige’s forthcoming project will follow her 2022 album, Good Morning Gorgeous, released in 2022. The Grammy-nominated album included her No. 1 hit “Good Morning Gorgeous,” co-produced by D’Mile and H.E.R.

Before Blige’s project arrives, she will perform at the 2024 Lovers & Friends Festival on May 4 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
