Mahalia is heading out on tour this fall. The singer-songwriter has unveiled dates for her headlining In Real Life Tour that spans U.K. and Europe. It begins Oct. 8.
After playing eight more shows through October, Mahalia will carry out the remaining itinerary until Nov. 7 when the tour wraps in Berlin, Germany, at Columbia Theatre.
Mahalia’s upcoming tour follows her Letter To Ur Ex Tour, which saw her hit various cities in North America in 2022. Her last tour supported her EP of the same title, while this next tour is dedicated to her upcoming sophomore album, IRL, out July 14.
IRL includes Mahalia’s latest single “Terms and Conditions,” which she co-wrote with RAYE, who also contributed background vocals. The Elements produced the track.
“It’s all about setting boundaries and deciding what things I would no longer compromise on. I made this song with my wonderful friend and artist, Raye and two of my favorite producers – The Elements. This record is just the first taste from my upcoming second album and I can’t wait to see if people like it,” Mahalia said.
Mahalia’s next album will follow her two EPs, 2022’s Letter To Ur Ex and 2020’s Isolation Tapes. It also comes nearly four years after her debut album, Love and Compromise, which arrived in September 2019.
Love and Compromise spawned the Ella Ma-assisted smash “What You Do,” which peaked at No. 6 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart. It’s Mahalia’s first appearance and top ten hit on that chart.
