Keithian might need to fall back from pursuing a certain someone on his new song “Go Bae.”
The pulsing and finger-snapping beat, well-built by OLivR and Loris Geisen, fits snugly to the emerging singer-songwriter’s astonishing voice and his message of experiencing a funny feeling after a love interest seems detached from the relationship.
“Go Bae” is the first taste of new solo music from Keithian since the release of 2020’s … To My Pain EP, a follow-up to 2015’s Power. Speaking on the most recent project, he reissued it as a live video version in April.
Prior to that, he teamed up with Isa Tone (“Pillow Talk”) and Kirsten Collins (“Blackout”) for their joint tracks. His work with the latter artist was later stripped down for an acoustic take.
