After much anticipation, Cardi B has finally released her sophomore album, Am I The Drama, and premieres its “Safe” music video featuring Kehlani.
The visual captures Cardi and Kehlani serving looks and their chemistry. It also follows a tale of Cardi’s troubled relationship with her man, played by Don Benjamin, which turns tragic.
“I don’t need a rich nigga, just somebody that can make me feel safe / I cut off a couple niggas ’cause they never ever made me feel safe,” raps Cardi, while Kehlani adds, “‘Cause when I’m with you, I just know I’m fine/ You take all the pressure off my mind.”
