R&B Singer Chikoruss Signs to 300 Entertainment

R&B

R&B newcomer Chikoruss has signed a deal with 300 Entertainment. The Montreal native joins a roster that includes Mary J. Blige, WanMor, Phony Ppl, Kenya Vaun and more.

Chikoruss celebrates his signing by releasing his new single, “In 2 Deep.” It’s the follow-up to his 2023 track, “Body Language,” which he independently released in May.

“In 2 Deep” immediately transports listeners to the 2000s with its breezy, feel-good production. On the track produced by LUYA, Chikoruss shows off his dirty mack side, audaciously spitting game at a woman who’s already taken.

“Talk to me, girl, talk to me / Are you with it, or tryin’ to play? / Baby, rock with me, girl, rock with me / You got sugar I’m tryna taste / I know you got a man, but I don’t care,” he sings.

Chikoruss says “In 2 Deep” is a special song for him because it was made during his first trip to Los Angeles, California. “It was the day I dropped my debut single ‘Body Language. I was beaming off of the good energy from the release,” he recalls.

“I was working with one of my favorite engineers, Kai. It’s important to work with engineers who are on the same wavelength as me and can predict my style. Kai is great, because he’s able to essentially mix my vocals while I record. He helps me sound flawless, which gives me even more confidence when making music.”

Chikoruss has not confirmed if “In 2 Deep” will appear on a future project; however, he does plan to drop “a series of new singles” this spring.
