Toni Braxton Launches Body Care Brand Nude Sugar

R&B

Toni Braxton is ready to take the beauty industry by storm.

The legendary R&B vocalist has announced her new brand Nude Sugar. Selling exclusively at Ulta Beauty stores and Ulta.com, Nude Sugar was “developed to enrich and enhance the skin for women of all colors,” according to a press release.

“I’m excited to step into my new business venture in the beauty industry and I couldn’t have been happier than to partner with ULTA who are leaders in the beauty retail space,” Braxton said in a statement. “After working on Nude Sugar for two years I’m eager for women of all color to try my products that’s meant for US, there’s nothing else like it.”

Braxton worked closely with industry experts and formulators to ensure each product addresses core body care needs. She was inspired to create her own line of products after noticing a lack of options for herself and other women of color.

Made with vegan ingredients, the Nude Sugar collection includes a hydration cream, a body mist, a hair mist, body lotion, a bath and shower gel, and more. The price of the products range from $18 to $45.

In other news, Braxton’s sixth studio album, Libra, will finally arrive to streaming services via Blackground Records 2.0 on October 1. It will also be available in a vinyl and CD format. The album includes the singles “Please,” “Trippin’ (That’s the Way Love Works)” and “Take This Ring.”

Last year, she released her tenth album, Spell My Name, which included her R&B radio chart-topper “Gotta Move On” featuring H.E.R.
