BTS‘ Jimin, JVKE, Muni Long, Kodak Black and NLE Choppa have released ‘Angel Pt. 1’, their collaboration for the soundtrack of Fast X.
On the newly released songs, Jimin, JVKE and Muni Long handle the track’s chorus and bridge, singing: “Angel, don’t fly so close to me / I’ll pull you down eventually / You don’t wanna lose those wings / People like me break beautiful things.”
Meanwhile, Kodak Black and NLE Choppa contribute rap verses to ‘Angel Pt. 1’. “I give it all up to ease your pain, yeah, I would do that all day / I step back from the game and keep you out of harm’s way / Would risk it all for the game, but it take more than one person / Two people, one ’til I feel the same way you hurtin’,” Kodak Black raps.
Meanwhile, all five artists appear in the music video for ‘Angel Pt. 1’, performing the song from rooftops of building and while driving fast cars. Elsewhere in the clip, Jimin and Muni Long share some screentime together, crooning the chorus on a soundstage with psychedelic visuals in the background.
‘Angel Pt 1’ will appear on the Fast X soundtrack, which was previously previewed by the singles ‘Let’s Ride’ by YG, Ty Dolla $ign and Lambo4oe, and ‘Won’t Back Down’ by NBA YoungBoy, Bailey Zimmerman and Dermot Kennedy.
In other news, Jimin recently topped the Hot 100 with his solo single ‘Like Crazy’. The song appears on his debut solo album ‘FACE’, which also includes the single ‘Set Me Free Pt.2’.
