Now that Lucky Daye’s new single “Over” is bubbling on R&B charts, the New Orleans native offers up a live rendition.
Filmed in the same theatre as the official video, Daye lets his tender, stripped-down vocals run wild, bouncing them off the corners of the vacant playhouse.
Daye released his now top 20 R&B single “Over” in late September and the accompanying music video. He teamed up with VanJess around the same time for a live rendition of their song “Slow Down (Remix).”
Elsewhere on the R&B radio and Billboard charts is Daye’s “You Want My Love” collaboration with the legendary Earth, Wind & Fire. It is holding firm at No. 2 after making its first appearance 12 weeks ago.
Daye said his sophomore album is slated for release in 2022. His critically-acclaimed debut album Painted arrived in 2019, and his transitional project, Table For Two, dropped in February of this year.
