Eternal Drak have released the official music video for “We Force It To Speak” from the band’s newly issued sixth album, The Violence of Time, which was released July 27.
“Trying to understand time doesn’t reveal it. It distorts it … Truth isn’t discovered. It’s enforced,” say the band.
The black metal aesthetic of the video showcases tension and texture and is just a hint of what’s to come on the rest of the record.
The Violence of Time is, according to the band, “a ten‑track exploration of time as a hostile force, not a neutral medium, but an active pressure that erodes memory, identity, and causality.” The band frame time as something that “does not flow; it imposes … it does not reveal meaning; it destroys it.”
