Usher’s ‘Good Good’ Spends 5th Week Atop Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay Chart

Usher continues to ride high on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart. His single “Good Good,” featuring Summer Walker and 21 Savage, remains at No. 1 for a fifth week, extending its reign as his second-longest stand atop this chart.

The Mel & Mus-produced track is two weeks away from tying with “Here I Stand,” which held the top position for seven weeks. At this time, the latter track maintains its lead.

During the week of Nov. 18, Usher upped his count to eight chart-toppers on this airplay chart. He joins Bruno Mars, Tank, Maxwell, and Kem in second place for the most No. 1s among male artists on this list. Charlie Wilson leads the pack with nine.

Since its August release, “Good Good” has hit No. 1 on multiple Billboard charts, including R&B Digital Song Sales, R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay.

The hit collaboration also stormed three radio formats: R&B, urban, and rhythmic. He is the only artist to command the top spot on these three airplay formats in 2023.

At R&B radio this week, “Good Good” remains at No. 1, followed by Mary J. Blige’s “Still Believe In Love” at No. 2 and Muni Long’s “Made For Me” at No. 3.

“Good Good” is the official lead single from Usher’s ninth album, Coming Home, set to release on Feb. 9, 2024. The 20-track LP will include additional features from H.E.R. (“Risk It All“) and Jung Kook (“Standing Next to You“).

Usher’s duet with H.E.R., released initially as the second single from The Color Purple soundtrack, opened at No. 21 on the Adult R&B Airplay chart this week.

Meanwhile, Usher and Jung Kook recently unveiled a performance-style video for their collaboration.

Aside from streaming, Coming Home can be bought in CD, digital album, and vinyl formats. Fans can bundle the first and last options with merchandise like a hoodie and a t-shirt.

The vinyl version of Coming Home is available on double LP in various colors at different retailers.

Usher will perform at Apple Music’s Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show on Feb. 11, 2024, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
