Usher’s single “Good Good,” featuring Summer Walker and 21 Savage, logs a fourth week at No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart this week.

The track produced by Mel & Mus slid to No. 2 last week (Dec. 9), while October London’s “Back To Your Place” returned to the top spot for a 10th week.

“Good Good” now earns Usher his second-best run at No. 1 on the Adult R&B Airplay chart, spending four weeks in the top spot. “Here I Stand” maintains its lead, thanks to a seven-week domination started in December 2008.

Usher’s 2010 hit “Papers,” co-produced by Sean Garrett and Zaytoven, briefly tied with “Good Good” as his longest-running No. 1 when at the three-week mark.

Good Good” is Usher’s eighth No. 1 on the Adult R&B Airplay chart, tying him with Bruno Mars, Tank, Maxwell, and Kem for the second-most No. 1s among male artists on this list. He achieved this feat the week of Nov. 18.

The collaboration peaked at No. 16 on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart on the week of Dec. 2. It surpassed his previous best, “I Don’t Mind” featuring Juicy J, which reached No. 17 in March of 2015.

“Good Good” also topped R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and R&B Digital Song Sales. It also peaked at No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Usher’s latest single from his Coming Home album has been successful on both Billboard and radio charts. It has reached No. 1 on three radio formats: urban, R&B, and rhythmic, which no other artist has achieved this year.

This week, “Good Good” returns to the top spot on R&B radio for the fourth week.

As mentioned above, Usher’s ninth studio album, Coming Home, is set to release on Feb. 11, 2024, via his mega imprint, in partnership with Larry Jackson’s gamma company. “Good Good” was released as the official lead single in August.

“We’ve put a lot of thought and creativity into this new album to tell a story that is open to interpretation and that will connect with people in different ways,” said Usher. “I know this has been a long time coming for my fans and what I’ll say is that all good things come to those who wait. I hope you enjoy it once you hear it.”

Usher will also headline Apple Music’s Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show on the same day Coming Home is released.

“It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before,” Usher shared in a statement. “Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen. I’ll see you real soon.”

In other music news, Usher recently collaborated on the single “Risk It All” with H.E.R. for The Color Purple soundtrack, and also worked on “Standing Next to You (Remix)” and “Transparency” with K-pop artist Jung Kook and 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne.
