Dutch hardcore/death/groove metal outfit Everything Decayswill release their debut album, and the second entry in theirRequiemseries, next month but they’re teasing it early with new single “Crowd Control.” A four-minute genre amalgam, “Crowd Control” fuses hardcore, groove metal, deathcore and death metal into one coherent thought.
“A furious critique of authoritarianism, dehumanization and the abuse of power,” Everything Decays tell Decibel. “The song depicts humanity as expendable cattle, manipulated and discarded by those in control. It explores the fear of living under systems that value obedience over life, where resistance is crushed and individual worth is determined by those in power.”
