Doomy psych heroes Black Rainbows return with their eighth album, Superskull, out June 9 via Heavy Psych Sounds. Get a taste of it with the single “Apocalypse March,” streaming below. As you can hear for yourself, the track is stony and heavy as their stuff ever has been, but with even more focus on catchiness and riffs.

Their press release proudly claims, “This album gives you not only incredible heavy rock-stoner gems, but also one space acoustic song, one super psychedelic suite, and one melodic trippy ballad that adds a perfect mixture of what is sure to be the best album released by the band so far!”

Superskull was recorded by Fabio Sforza, the same producer of their last two recordings, in May 2022, and after much work and effort by the band in mixing and mastering, the album will see the light of day this month. The artwork was done by Brazilian artist Pedro Correa.
