Track Premiere: Beneath Moonlight – “None Before God”

Metal

Decibel is proud to present a new emanation from the Ordo Vampyr Orientis, known for mysterious acts such as Bat Magic, Bad Manor and Beastial Majesty. Today’s bloody devilry comes courtesy of Beneath Moonlight. “None Before God” comes from the group’s upcoming self-titled release, due out on December 20 via Debemur Morti Productions. Fans of cold, raw, vampiric black metal will certainly be pleased.

In discussion with the label, the band provided some context for the release and its various inspiring forces. According to The Sanguinarian (piano, songwriting): “the name appeared to me in a ferocious and terrifying vision. A spectre, lit aflame in red light, whispered it in my ear and I felt my flesh singe and eardrums pop with each syllable.” Regarding the song itself, The Ghastly Vrykolak (Guitar) states that “I meditated on specific chord voicings and, with The Haunted Strigoi’s textural counterpoint and lyrical, melodious bass work, found within myself the most sinister riffs possible. Beneath Moonlight is superlative, and as such it demanded the finest performance from each member.”
