Tiana Major9 has found a secret, intimate place to speak comfortably to her muse on what she’s producing next in his honor. The hideaway is a “2 Seater,” which happens to be her new single’s title, and it features Smino.
On the track, produced by Phoelix and PRGRSHN, Majori9 gets in a ride owned by her love and breaks out a notebook with pages full of romantic ideas he’s caused her to write.
Going with the record’s concept, Smino is flattered to be the inspiration of songs and signals his on-wax lady to come out the crib and vibe in the ride for a minute since his off time is limited.
He lets down his guard with vulnerable lines like “show you my scars, so you can bless them.”
Towards the song’s ending, Major9 flips the singing script and gains a causal flow and creative wordplay.

“2 Seater” is a peek of Major9’s forthcoming EP, Fool Me Once, out March 15.
It’s the first project since she remixed her famed 2020 project, At Sixes and Sevens. That release ended up appearing on Rated R&B’s Best R&B Albums of 2020 list.
Major9 is currently opening up for Jazmine Sulivan’s recently-paused Heaux Tales Tour. It is promised to resume soon after Sullivan recovers from Covid-19.
