Suffocation and Revocation Announce Tour of Australia |

A power duo in both rhyming names and heavy riffs, Suffocation and Revocation have announced an Australian tour in April, followed by a solo run from Suffocation in New Zealand.

Suffocation will be touring in support of their latest record, their first in six years and the first they’ve done with vocalist Rocky Myers, Hymns From The Apocrypha. Revocation will be touring on their 2022 album Netherheaven. .

“Don’t miss the Hymns From The Apocrypha Australian Tour with special guests Revocation!” say Suffocation about the tour. “We’ll be bringing you the classic Suffocation tracks along with all the new stuff!”

Dates are below, and tickets are available now.

Suffocation have also been in the news lately when Bridget Lynch, vocalist of Stabbing, joined the band on vocals for a portion of their set when their vocalist needed support.

“I’ve been doing guest vocals on ‘Liege of Inveracity,’ and Terrance and Charlie pulled me aside maybe 15-20 min before their set yesterday to ask me if I could do the set, minus some songs, she says. I was like, ‘Holy shit, are y’all fucking for real right now?’

“The place was packed, and a lot of people came out for Suffocation, so it would be a bummer if they had to drop—The show must go on—So I said fuck it and did it. It was an honor and a dream come true, but I was also so nervous my legs were shaking. I just went on stage after they introduced me thinking, hey, I’ll do my best! Hopefully I did them proud.”

Hopefully, Suffocation and Revocation will decide to hit other parts of the world in the new year as well.
