“I’m so proud this song is #1,” Rogers shares. “I can’t say enough about how thankful I am that Texas regional radio supports not only our band, but so many talented artists that deserve the credit for the hard work it takes to stay on the road.”

Written by Randy Montana, Wendell Mobley and Lee Miller, “Fast Car” finds its narrator wondering about a woman he just met, calling to mind the “butterfly-provoking process of falling head-over-heels for someone you like,” as put by CMT, who deemed the track “the ultimate love song.”

Along with topping the charts in Texas, “Fast Car” recently entered the Top 50 on the nationwide Country Aircheck/Mediabase Country radio chart. The song first appeared on Randy Rogers Band’s critically praised 2022 album, HOMECOMING (Tommy Jackson Records / Thirty Tigers).

Earlier this month, Randy Rogers Band headlined a SOLD-OUT show at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium and was profiled by the Tennessean in a piece highlighting the band’s innumerable contributions to the Texas Country scene and declaring their “brand of two-stepping, honky-tonking good-time party music” to be “in an elite, world-renowned class of that country music subgenre.”

Randy Rogers Band is currently on the road and has a slate of upcoming dates throughout the Southern United States as well as major summer shows on the books including a performance at Windy City Smokeout in Chicago and a visit to Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado with Parker McCollum.
