The supergroup DrinkTheSeahaveannounced details of a new album and a US,UKand Europeantour forlater this year.
The band is made up of formerR.E.M.guitarist Peter Buck, Barrett Martin ofScreaming Treesand Alain Johannes of Eleven andQueensOfTheStone Age, as well as Duke Garwood and Lisette Garcia.
They will release their third studio album ‘Drink The Sea III’ on October 2 via Martin’s Sunyata Records and Sony Orchard Digital Music, and they will share the record’s lead single on July 31.
The album wasproduced by Martin and Johannes and wasrecorded while the band were on the road between October 2025 and April 2026, making use of studios in Olympia, Washington as well as Chile and Brazil.
Drink The Sea will play a lengthy tour that kicks off with a US leg in Vashon Island, Washington on August 30. The UK dates begin in Cardiff on September 30and alsoinclude shows in Manchester,Londonand Brighton, before a European tour that wraps up in Ravenna, ItalyonOctober 23.
