Omarion Announces New Album ‘Full Circle: Sonic Book Two’

R&B

Omarion has announced his new album Full Circle: Sonic Book Two, the sequel to his project released in May.

Due Dec. 15, Sonic Book Two will contain 15 tracks, including the lead single, “Taking Off,” featuring rising R&B act BJRNCK.

The sensual tune, produced by Greg Curtis, depicts the reunion of two lovers after a period of separation.

Omarion confirmed on Instagram that “The Usual” from Sonic Book Two will release Friday, Nov. 24.

The song was chosen as the next single in response to high demand from fans. He already shared its official visualizer on YouTube.

Full Circle: Sonic Book Two is the follow-up to Full Circle: Sonic Book 1, which arrived earlier this year via his Omarion Worldwide imprint.

Regarding Sonic Book 1, Omarion said, “There aren’t many artists who can inspire positivity. Not many people can invoke that feeling of, ‘I feel good’ or ‘I want to do something with this.’ Through this project, I’m inspiring people. This is that full-circle moment of me coming back to a place where there’s power in my vulnerability. That’s what my music means to me at this time.”

Sonic Book 1 consists of 11 tracks, some released ahead of the full-length, including “Big Vibez” and “Serious.”

The latter song has become very popular on TikTok and has received a lot of love from fans online, reaching No. 1 on iTunes’ R&B Songs and Amazon’s R&B Best Sellers charts.

Omarion followed up with an official video dedicated to his friend Anthony “Boaner” Martinez and other men of color who have been wrongfully incarcerated.

During his recent appearance on the Tamron Hall Show, Omarion discussed his new music and performed “Serious” for the audience.
