Meshuggah’s Remastered Version of “Bleed” Will Remind You That You Suck at Drums

Metal

Unless you’ve been living under a rock since 2008, you probably know a drummer (or are a drummer) that’s still struggling to deal with the rhythmic insanity that is Meshuggah‘s ultra popular track “Bleed.” With the release of their 15th Anniversary Edition of Obzen in all its remastered glory, it’s time to check out the high def version of this djenty classic.

Celebrating the album’s 15th anniversary, the album was given another layer of polish by Thomas Eberger and Sofia von Hage at Stockholm Mastering. The result, as you can hear from the track below, is a crisp sounding version of “Bleed.”

In addition to the album’s remastered release, Meshuggah are kicking off their Nordic tour today, with support from The Halo Effect, Orbit Culture, and Scar Symmetry. You can check out the list of dates below the song.

Oh and don’t give up. You might be able to play along to “Bleed” one of these days.
