“Still Believe in Love” was released Oct. 27, 2023, via Blige’s Beautiful Life Music.

The euphoric track — produced by Jelli Dorman, Kuk Harrell, Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman and DJ Cassidy — debuted at No. 28 on the Adult R&B Airplay chart dated Nov. 4, 2023. By late December, “Still Believe in Love” climbed to No. 1.

“I wrote [‘Still Believe in Love’] when I was fresh out of my divorce because I needed to say something different and something positive, other than what was going on in my life,” Blige explained to Big Tigger during an Audacy Check In. “I had to believe in myself. The timing, the climate for the song was just perfect for right now. People need some positivity.”

In the same interview, Blige confirmed a new project, slated to arrive this summer, which she described as “something nice for my fans.”

Blige’s upcoming project will follow her Grammy-nominated album, Good Morning Gorgeous, released in 2022.
