Mary J. Blige Announces Two New Singles: ‘Good Morning Gorgeous’ and ‘Amazing’

R&B

A new Mary J. Blige era is upon us. The legendary R&B singer has announced has announced not one, but two new singles: “Good Morning Gorgeous” and “Amazing” featuring DJ Khaled. Both tracks are set to release this Friday, Dec. 3.

“Good Morning Gorgeous” and “Amazing” are expected to appear on Blige’s upcoming 14th studio album, which is slated to release in early 2022.

In a recent interview with Tamron Hall, Blige hinted that fans can expect more songs that cover self-confidence and self-love.”

Blige told Hall, “I’m not cocky. I’m not arrogant. But I earned the right to say some things. I earned the right to say, ‘I feel amazing.’”

She added, “The reason why I said I feel amazing is not because every day is a great day and I always wake up feeling — like this. It’s because when I wake up with no hair and makeup, I’m accepting that chick who goes to the bathroom. I like her. I hang out with myself a lot. I’m my own best friend…that’s why it’s cool.”
