Mark Zuckerberg and T-Pain release acoustic version of ‘Get Low’

Mark Zuckerberg and T-Pain have released an acoustic cover of Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz’s classic ‘Get Low’ – listen to it below.

The track – which has officially been released on streaming platforms with the pair credited as Z-Pain – was recorded as an anniversary present from Zuckerberg to his wife Priscilla. He wrote, explaining on Instagram: “‘Get Low’ was playing when I first met Priscilla at a college party, so every year we listen to it on our dating anniversary.”

The Meta owner continued: “This year I worked with @tpain on our own version of this lyrical masterpiece. Sound on for the track and also available on Spotify. Love you P ❤️”

Zuckerberg leads the majority of the song’s vocals, with T-Pain chiming in for ad-libs, backing vocals and a verse. The song is slowed down and performed acoustically and isn’t censored in any way.

Listen to Zuckerberg and T-Pain team up for ‘Get Low’ below.

The acoustic take on ‘Get Low’ gives it a little bit of a country twang – something that T-Pain’s admittedly been involved in for awhile now. Earlier this year, he revealed that he has left his name off writing credits for country songs due to “the racism that comes after it”.

“Good music is good music. I don’t give a fuck where it comes from or what style it comes in,” he said, explaining where he draws influences from. “All the people I know feel like it’s not cool to listen to other genres of music. Country music is where I get all my harmonies.”

He continued: “I done wrote a lot of country songs [but] I stopped taking credit for it because as cool as it is to see your name in those credits and shit like that, the racism that comes after it is just like, ‘I’ll just take the check. Don’t put me on that shit. I’ll just take the check, bro. Nevermind, dude.’”
