Madi Watkins of Year of the Knife is Slowly Becoming Responsive |

Metal

On Friday, Brandon Watkins, Madi’s husband, posted that she is starting to become responsive following the bad van accident Year of the Knife suffered last month.

Brandon’s update says:

While everyone in the band was injured in the Utah accident nine days ago, vocalist Madi had the worst of the injuries and is only now starting to regain consciousness. Guitarist Brandon suffered a concussion; drummer Andy Kisielewski broke both his ankles, and his brother and the band’s other guitarist, Aaron Kisielewski, also suffered broken bones and a lacerated carotid artery.

We continue to wish a speedy recovery for the band. Those who wish to support the band can visit their GoFundMe page.
