R&B

R&B vocalist Luke James is expecting his first child with Sunny Lewis. It has been announced that they will be having a baby boy.

Lewis made an Instagram post to announce that the baby shower was perfect. She expressed gratitude to all family and friends who took the time to celebrate the baby with them.

Ro James, who has collaborated and toured with James in the past, attended the baby shower. Actor Woody McClain and lifestyle specialist Kenny Burns were also present.

There has been no post from James regarding the expectancy of his first child. Additionally, there is currently limited information available about Lewis and James’ relationship.

James last album, to feel love/d, was released in 2020. The Grammy-nominated album featured guest appearances from BJ The Chicago Kid, Ro James, Samoht, Kirk Franklin, and Big K.R.I.T.

James released A Live Sensation, a symphonic interpretation of his second album, to feel love/d, the following year. Nu Deco Ensemble oversaw the orchestra.

In addition to his solo music, James teamed up with Robert Glasper for Black Radio III (Supreme Edition) last year. Their joint creation is called “My Queen.”

James has stayed active in the acting world. In the past year, he acted alongside Naturi Naughton in Kirk Franklin’s The Night Before Christmas.

Prior to that, he was part of the Broadway production of Thoughts of a Colored Man with Tristan “Mack” Wilds and Christmas in Harmony, directed by Rusty Cundieff.

James is still a main character on Showtime’s The Chi. The release date for the sixth season has not been announced yet.
