Lucky Daye Reveals Tracklist for New Album ‘Candydrip’

R&B

Lucky Daye has shared the official tracklist for his upcoming album, Candydrip.

Out on March 10 via Keep Cool/RCA Records, Daye’s sophomore album will consist of 17 tracks, including the title track, the Lil Durk-assisted “NWA,” and the lead single “Over.”

Contrary to Daye’s early reports of two features on the album, Candydrip will feature a total of three guest appearances, two of which are Smino and Chiiild.

Daye, who appears on recent projects by Alicia Keys and Khalid, will support his Candydrip release with a headlining tour. It starts on March 18 and Joyce Wrice will join Daye as the special guest. Tickets are available now.

While on tour, Daye will take a break and attend the 2022 Grammys, where he’s nominated for two honors, including Best R&B Album for Table For Two

The duets project, released last year February, appeared on Rated R&B’s year-end Best R&B albums list published in December 2021.

His collaboration “How Much Can a Heart Take” with Yebba received a Grammy nod for Best Traditional R&B Performance. He issued an extended live rendition of the song days before the Christmas holidays.

On the songwriting side, Daye co-wrote Mary J. Blige’s new anthem “Good Morning Gorgeous.” It netted the legendary singer her seventh number-one hit at Billboard Adult R&B last month.
