Louis York and Jessie J Share ‘Heaven Bound’ Video

R&B

Louis York, the musical duo composed of Claude Kelly and Chuck Harmony, has unveiled the video for their Jessie J-assisted single “Heaven Bound.”

In the vibrant and performance-driven visual, Kelly, dressed in purple, and a very pregnant Jessie J take center stage at their mics, as they sing their faces off. Meanwhile, Harmony holds his position at the Rhodes piano, as he alternates with the bass guitar.

“We have a BIG history of hit-making with Jessie J,” Louis York told Rated R&B about their collaboration. “We have topped the charts, broken records and made the world dance several times over. Louis York paired with one of the best singers on the planet is a force of nature. ‘Heaven Bound’ shows the best of all three of us. This duet is from the heart. It’s soulful, anthemic and undeniable.”

“Heaven Bound” is the lead single from Louis York”s upcoming album, Songs With Friends. The collaborative project will follow the duo’s debut album, American Griotswhich was among Rated R&B’s 30 Best R&B Albums of 2019 list.

It’s been nearly five years since Jessie J last released a project. In May 2018, she released her fourth album R.O.S.E. in four parts. Each part — Realisations; Obsessions; Sex; and Empowerment — was released as an EP.

“The songs on R.O.S.E. are simply me singing my diary in a melody. I am so grateful and happy that anyone who has been waiting for this record in full will finally have it,” Jessie J explained.

Later that year, she returned with her first-ever holiday album, This Christmas Day
