For once our friends in Canada are getting some love later this year, as Killswitch Engage unveiled a nine-date headlining run through the Great White North set for this August with Machine Head and Malevolence. Oh and the U.S. isn’t going to be left out, either.
Set to take place from August 5 in Ottawa, Ontario and coming to a close on August 16 in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, the run will see KSE hit Toronto, Thunder Bay, Winnepeg, and Edmonton, to name a few stops.
Similarly, they’ll have a headlining run through the U.S. that will start on June 3 in Detroit and come to a close on June 27 in San Francisco. That run will include Machine Head, Iron Reagan, and Havok.
Speaking of the two runs of dates, frontman Jesse Leach hyped up the announcement, addressing specific fanbases as he explained the band was excited to go on the road in support of This Consequence.
“We are all beyond excited to get back on the road in support of our latest album This Consequence. This upcoming run will see us bringing two distinct and devastating lineups across Canada and a small run around the United States. Each lineup is built to deliver a unique and crushing experience.
“For our Canadian dates, we’ll be hitting major cities alongside the legendary Machine Head and the relentless force that is Malevolence. This is a power trio bill designed to level every stage we step on pure intensity, groove, and aggression. Canada, roll up!
“For our United States run, we’re bringing a different kind of devastation. Joining us are once again the legends Machine Head, the prolific heaviness of Rivers of Nihil, and the raw, unfiltered intensity of Judiciary. This lineup delivers a dynamic blend of atmosphere, technicality, and sheer hardcore aggression!
“Two unique lineups, one mission: To tear it up everywhere we go. Hell yes, my friends!”
Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, April 17 at 10 a.m. local time. There are various pre-sales going on right now, so be sure to keep an eye out for those. In the meantime, you can check out the full list of Killswitch Engage tour dates and decide when you’ll catch ’em live.
