Keithian has emerged for the second time this spring with his new single “Bullsh*t.”
Sounding confident in familiar production surroundings, Keithian implies that his lover is bluffing about what’s in their heart about their state of romance. He would rather they be truthful than make him fool’s gold.
“Pick up the phone, give me a buzz / Lemme know what you decide / If nobody’s home, I’m not alone ‘cause I’m tired of wasting my time / I’m tired of wasting my time / I know that you wanna be mine / Act like you don’t but you lying,” Keithian sings.
“‘Bullshit,’ is a play on the card game. It’s the immediate reaction you have when you know something isn’t true or right,” Keithian says. “I was in a relationship that seemed as if it was going good, but then I realized that I was not being met halfway and everything that was being said to me was bullshit. So instead of continuing in the lies and nonsense, [I] said what I felt and was willing to peace out.”
“Bullsh*t” follows the previously shared single “Ways,” which Keithian announced as the first single from his upcoming EP, Human. His impending project comes a year behind his Green Clouds effort.
Green Clouds featured several singles, including “Go Bae” and “Guaranteed.”
Keithian’s latest track is perfectly timed as well. He is currently supporting Vedo’s Mood Swings Tour nationwide. The tour concludes May 23 in San Francisco, California, at Bimbo’s 365 Club.
