Jeremih to Join 50 Cent on ‘The Final Lap Tour 2023’

R&B

Grammy-nominated singer Jeremih will support rap megastar 50 Cent on The Final Lap Tour 2023. Legendary rapper Busta Rhymes is also a special guest.

The tour will celebrate the 20th anniversary of 50 Cent’s groundbreaking debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’.

The Final Lap Tour will consist of two legs: North America and U.K./Europe. The North American kicks off July 21 in Salt Lake City, Utah, at Maverik Center.

From there, the three acts will play in major cities in the U.S. and Canada, including Denver, St. Louis, Toronto, Brooklyn, Charlotte, Atlanta and Tampa. The North American leg concludes Sept. 17 in Detroit, Michigan, at Pine Knob Music Theatre.

Jeremih will only appear on the North American leg. Additional special guests will be announced at a later date.

The U.K./Europe leg begins Sept. 28 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and will conclude Nov. 12 in Birmingham, England.

For North American tickets, Verified Fan will be used to ensure “more tickets get into the hands of fans.”

According to Ticketmaster, Verified Fan helps “filter out buyers looking to resell tickets, so more tickets get to fans who are going to hold on to tickets and attend the show.”

Fans in North America can register now through Sunday, May 7, at 11:59 p.m. ET for the Verified Fan presale. Fans who are selected to receive an access code will be able to participate in the Verified Fan presale starting Wednesday, May 10.

General on-sale begins Friday, May 12, at 10 a.m. local time at ticketmaster.com.

Additionally, there will be VIP packages available for fans to purchase, which “may include premium tickets, VIP parking and exclusive access to a pre-show lounge, special entry, Sire Spirits bottle signings, access to afterparty events, and more.”

European presale begins Wednesday, May 10, at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 12, at 10 a.m. local time on 50Cent.com.

Circling back to Jeremih, he released his last single in 2022 titled “Changes.” It was dubbed as the lead single from his highly-awaited fourth album.

“We all go back and forth with relationships sometimes and the various changes they can have. The ups, the downs, but the best change is having someone that’ll make you stop doing what you’re doing to focus on just that,” Jeremih said about “Changes.”

It’s been nearly eight years since Jeremih released a proper album. In December 2015, he dropped Late Nights: The Album via Def Jam Recordings.

The included his Grammy-nominated single “Planez” featuring J. Cole, as well as other features from Jhené Aiko, Ty Dolla $ign, Future, Juicy J, Twista, Migos, Big Sean and Feather.

Before that, he released his sophomore album, All About You, in 2010 and his self-titled debut album in 2009.

In October 2021, Jeremih was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for reaching one million equivalent sales units.
