Jaz Karis Releases New Song ‘Little Blue Moon’

Emerging British singer Jaz Karis has released her new single “Little Blue Moon” via MNRK Records.

On the acoustic track, produced by Adam Boukis, Karis gives praise to her Higher Power.

“The way that you hold on my hand / I’ll never let go again / The best part is you and I know / That I don’t do good on my own / The way that you make it so easy / To make me feel like l’m needed,” she sings in the chorus.

Regarding the song’s inspiration, Karis shared, “‘Little Blue Moon’ was a conversation between me and God. Knowing someone loves you unconditionally is a beautiful thing and this song is my token of appreciation for that.”

She added in an Instagram post: “God continues to remind me that love is the only way. Music is a gift & I am so grateful to be able to share it in this way, especially with all that going on in the world right now.”

“Little Blue Moon” arrives with an accompanying music video directed by Ana Liasi and Daisy Maskell. The serene visual was filmed at The River Lea in England.

“Little Blue Moon” is Karis’ first release under MNRK Records. In April, she independently released “Therapy” as her first song of 2023.

“Sometimes you have to just do what you want. I wrote this song like it was an actual therapy session, things I’d most probably never have the guts to say in real life and it felt great to get it off my chest,” Karis told Rated R&B about the song.

In November 2022, Karis released her EP Dear Jaz. The seven-track offering included an appearance from Kojey Radical.

It also featured “Side of You,” which has surpassed 6.5 million streams on Spotify.
