J.Cole’s set to release his album The Off-Season this Friday (May 14), and shares its complimentary short-film, Applying Pressure: The Off-Season Documentary.

Executive produced by himself and Ibrahim Hamad, Jermaine walks us through the album’s creating process including its most recent track “Interlude“, and shares a behind the scenes look in the studio as well as private moments during his off season.

In other news, J.Cole is currently in Rwanda to play for the Rwanda Patriots BBC in the inaugural season of the Basketball Africa League, reports ESPN. The official signing to the team is reportedly this Thursday with the first game on Sunday (May 16) against the Nigeria River Hoopers.
