Leslie Davis is following up a major family moment with another special occasion.
Last month, the HGTV star announced via Instagram that her eldest son, Kyler, got engaged to his fiancée, Molly. “Kyler and Molly are engaged! I can’t believe my boy is growing up so fast but I couldn’t be more excited to officially welcome Molly into our family, even though it feels like she has been apart of it for years already,” she captioned the September 30 upload, which featured snaps from the couple’s engagement party.
Davis added, “These two are surrounded by so much love and we are so excited to watch them grow and celebrate through this new season.”
Shortly after celebrating her son’s romantic milestone, the Unsellable Houses star is honoring her own fiancé, Don Reidy, for his birthday. “My best friend turned 51 today,” she wrote via Instagram on Sunday, October 4. “Love you Donny. Let’s celebrate the next 51 together.”
Accompanying Davis’ birthday message was a video montage featuring clips of the pair’s adventures together, from fishing to helicopter rides to family events, sports games, and more.
Fans sent Reidy their own birthday wishes in the post’s comments, with one user writing, “Beautiful family. So happy for you all.” Another added, “Happy birthday to your bestie!” Someone else shared, “Happy Birthday. happy for you!!”
Earlier this year, Davis surprised fans with news of her and Reidy’s engagement, as she had not publicly confirmed her divorce from her ex-husband, Jacob. (Davis shares her three sons with her former spouse, including Cash and Cole.)
“SURPRISE. Don popped the question during a snowy Leavenworth snowmobile ride, joined by all three of my boys, which made it even more perfect,” she announced via Instagram on January 14. “Turns out Rock the Block gave me a win in more than one way.”
She continued, “ Somewhere between sunup-to-sundown chaos and lots of laughs, I found my person. Don, you are my safe place, my teammate, and my favorite adventure buddy. What started as a friendship during one of the wildest experiences of my life turned into true love. We were in it together then… and now we’re in it together forever.”
Shortly after revealing her engagement, Davis took to her blog to clarify her and Jacob’s relationship status. “Jacob and I made the very tough but right decision for our family to part ways in 2022, allowing us to create a happy, loving, and stable home to raise our three boys,” she explained. “Jacob and I will always share love for each other, just now in a new way, we have learned to become the best teammates, to lean on each other, to support each other’s new adventures, and always put our boys first.”
Davis noted, “With lots of changes, our priority was to always protect our family, which is why I have kept this part of my life private. And seriously, who even announces a divorce anyway LOL!”
