God’s Hate Go On Hiatus: “The Job Is Finished… For Now”

Metal

A Southern California hardcore band is going out on their terms… at least for the time being, as God’s Hate announced they were going on an indefinite hiatus after last night’s set at the Sound and Fury Festival in Los Angeles.

News of their decision to temporarily call it quits was posted to the band’s social media platforms. As is par for the course with these guys, their statement on the matter was to the point:

“A MESSAGE FROM GOD’S HATE. GOD’S HATE HIATUS BEGINS TONIGHT AFTER SOUND & FURY. THE JOB IS FINISHED… FOR NOW.”

It’s that “…FOR NOW” that’s got fans hopeful that the future holds some more ridiculously heavy music from God’s Hate.

Unfortunately — or fortunately if you watch All Elite Wrestling — the band’s frontman Brody King is also a pretty popular professional wrestler in that promotion. In fact, King had performed roughly 1,400 miles away in Arlington, Texas the night before for the company’s All In pay-per-view.
