The word “paragnosis” pertains to knowledge or wisdom granted by a higher power, and in the eyes and ears of the band by the same word, music is the greatest expression of that power. Paragnosis is an instrumental group from New York City whose influences and abilities span the gamut of musical experience. Therefore, Decibel is pleased to present that experience to you today in the form of the band’s new self-titled EP.
According to bassist Thomas Salyer:
“It’s hard to put into words how it feels to finally be putting out this EP. I’m just so excited for our modern sound to be out there. I can’t wait to see what people think about what we’re doing because I think it really is unique and something every kind of music fan can enjoy.”
