Full Album Stream: Midnight Force – “Severan”

Metal

New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal practitioners Midnight Force have been consistent in their output since forming in 2016, only once letting a year go by without releasing at least one new song. Through two albums, a split and a handful of EPs, the Scottish quartet have honed their sound to what you hear today on latest album Severan. Due for release later this week on Dying Victims Productions, Severan is the band’s first full-length album since 2019’s Gododdin and it sees the band pick up where they left off, taking the songwriting in bigger directions.

In the band’s own words, Severan is like a love letter to the heavy metal the members of Midnight Force love:

“After a painfully long wait we are very happy to (finally) present our third full length – Severan!” Midnight Force tell Decibel. “The time since the last album has been spent refining songwriting and production and we are very proud of what we have achieved. As fans of epic heavy metal and hard rock ourselves we feel like we have captured the essence of what this music means to us. Enjoy!”

Severan is out on September 27 but you can listen below.
