Different worlds are finally colliding inEuphoria‘s third season as Maddy (Alexa Demie) was introduced to Rue’s (Zendaya) boss, Alamo Brown (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), in the latest episode, “The Little Piggy.” Warning: Spoilers for Euphoria Season 3 Episode 5 ahead!
Approaching Rue during a diner meet-up with Maddy, Alamo was immediately drawn to Maddy, sending his employee off with his henchmen, before shooting the breeze with the motivated manager. As viewers saw in the episode, Maddy continued to build Cassie’s (Sydney Sweeney) following, capturing salacious photo shoots, selling dirty underwear, and shooting personalized videos and messages for clientele.
But Cassie’s goal to become a big-time Hollywood star saw her reaching for LA Nights, the show her sister Lexi (Maude Apatow) is working on, lured in by a promise from Maddy to get her an audition. Unbeknownst to Cassie, Maddy lied to keep her as a client, so Cassie wouldn’t leave her behind to become a full-time influencer.
While Cassie’s audition goes well, her next move seems like it will be in the best interest of Alamo, who sought to cut a deal with Maddy. Eager to make more money off of his dancers, he asks Maddy to help manage them in a similar way as Cassie for a split cut of their earnings. And the teaser for Season 3’s sixth episode sees Cassie seemingly working at the Silver Slipper alongside Alamo’s two best girls, Magick (Rosalía) and Kitty (Anna Van Patten).
Will Cassie’s collaboration with Magick and Kitty seal her fate in terms of the direction of her career? Or will she find success with her role onLA Nights, which is teased in the promo? Only time will tell. Could Nate (Jacob Elordi) be of influence on Cassie’s career as well? He’s more than eager to take the money she’s making to pay off his debts, and considering he just lost a finger because of the ongoing matter, his desperation is surely dialing up.
