Elhae Shares New Song ‘Numb’

R&B

Rising singer and songwriter Elhae has returned with “Numb,” his first song produced by Rascal since the first installment of his Aura trilogy. TAVE, a Grammy-nominated producer, is also involved in the production process.

On “Numb,” Elhae sings about his one-sided relationship, expressing how his once fully committed lover has become cold and detached towards him.

“Member how you felt about me / Had me under your command / All you did was ever doubt me / Used to be my only fan / Now I don’t need you to call my phone / Right next to you yet I’m all alone,” he sings.

Elhae confirmed on Instagram that he and Rascal are collaborating on more music.

“Numb” is Elhae’s first single since his Forgotten Flowers EP, released in March. The eight-track project marked his first independent release. It included appearances from Big K.R.I.T. and Crush.

“This project is a love letter to every single person that’s clicked play on an ELHAE song,” he wrote in an Instagram caption. “No big budget. No single. I’ll let you guys determine that. It’s just me, you and the music now.”

Elhae is gearing up North American shows throughout the summer. His upcoming trek, The Forgotten Flowers Sessions, kicks off July 6 at Crybaby in Oakland, California.

He’ll make stops in other U.S. cities, including Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia, before wrapping on Aug. 12 at S.O.B.’s in New York City. Tickets are now available at elhae.com.
