You all know the song the headline is referencing. It’s practically a meme at this point — hell, it was a major point of a major AEW wrestling match, but Drowning Pool‘s “Bodies” is a classic. This year marks the 25th anniversary of that song’s release when the band dropped their debut album Sinner.
Earlier today, Drowning Pool announced that they were releasing a special 25th anniversary deluxe vinyl release of Sinner on June 5 via Craft Recordings.
If you can do the math, then you know Sinner was released on 2001. Well, that or you’re like me and you remember when that song blew up and that album came out. It was the only Drowning Pool album to feature the band’s original vocalist Dave Williams, whose iconic scream fills the album. Sadly, Williams passed away in August 2002 while on tour.
This new version of Sinner will be pressed on a number of different vinyl variants, while a digital expanded edition featuring bonus material will be uploaded to popular music streaming platforms.
You can pre-order the 25th anniversary edition of Sinner today so you can ensure you get it by its June 5 release date.
