Devon Gilfillian Announces ‘Love You Anyway Tour’ Dates

R&B

Rising soul singer Devon Gilfillian has unveiled the dates for his Love You Anyway Tour.

The upcoming trek will support the Nashville-based artist’s sophomore album, Love You Anyway, released in April.

Gilfillian’s headlining tour begins Aug. 19 in Madison, Wisconsin. From there, Gilfillian will play across a mix of cities in the U.S. and Canada, including Chicago, Toronto, New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and Phoenix.

Some of his tour stops include festival shows such as Iron Blossom Music Festival in Richmond, Virginia; Mempho Music Festival in Memphis, Tennessee; and Austin City Limits in Austin, Texas.

The tour will conclude Oct. 19 at Meow Wolf in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Presale tickets are available now using the code: LOVEYOU. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, June 9.

Love You Anyway was released April 7 via Fantasy Records. The album includes the current single “All I Really Wanna Do,” which peaked at No. 6 on Billboard’s Adult Alternative Airplay chart during the week of May 27.

“The song is about the opportunities of love that you’re presented with, finding someone and being like, ‘Wow, this person accepts me for my weird ass self. Let’s see where this goes,’” Gilfillian explained to Rated R&B in an interview about his new album.

In the same week, Gilfillian released “All I Really Wanna Do (Sunrise Mix),” which is a stripped-down rendition of the lovey-dovey tune.

“This is the version I want you to hear waking up in the morning next to your boo. Get the coffee and tea going and start your day right. We layered a kaleidoscope of colorful guitars and vocals so that the production has a feeling of lightness, hope, and expectation – just like the morning,” Gilfillian explained in an Instagram caption.
