Rising alt-R&B singer Destin Conrad is set to embark on his first headlining tour in 2024. Emerging soul artist Amaria will join him on the trek.
The Submissive Tour, named after his latest project, launches Feb. 4, 2024, in Austin, Texas.
The North American leg will make additional stops in Dallas, New Orleans, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., Toronto, Detroit and Chicago. The tour will wrap up on April 5, 2024, in Los Angeles, California.
Presale tickets for the Submissive Tour will be available for Citi Cardholders beginning Tuesday, Dec. 5, at 8 a.m. local time. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, Dec. 8, at 10 a.m. local time.
As noted above, Conrad’s upcoming tour will support his new album, Submissive. The project includes features from Masego and Jordan Ward.
Speaking on the album’s title, Conrad shared, “Submissive usually has a sexual connotation, but I’m coming from more of a submitting to non-physical things, submitting to change, submitting to not knowing.”
He added, “So much has changed in my life that has forced me to submit. I didn’t realize at the time that it gave me the power to be dominant, to be assertive, to be an adult, to grow. Submission as a superpower.”
