Death Metal Band Severance Perform Outside Gamestop During Legend of Zelda Drop

Metal

Texas death metal band Severance had a creative idea and played a show in front of their local GameStop during the drop of the new The Legend of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom drop.

This took place on May 11, the night fans lined up outside GameStops across the U.S. to wait for their copy of the new Nintendo game.

As you can see from the video, a circle pit among small children (safely) learning to mosh breaks out, making this little clip go viral.

Apparently, this was part of a fan event for the game. According to the band’s Facebook:

“You all ready to make history at Gamestop? Go get your copy of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom while jamming out with us, 40 Caliber Kiss, and Quiet Ghosts. Plenty of cool stuff going on as well with vendors, cosplayers and prizes given away ????????. This will be the first of it’s kind for sure. #zeldatearsofthekingdom

This may only be 15 minutes of fame for the group, but hopefully it gets more eyes on Severance in the future!
