As if cruises weren’t dad magnets as it is, here’s another one for the true beer bellies out there. Everyone’s favorite band to hate-love, Creed, just announced that they’re bringing back their ‘Summer of ’99 & Beyond Cruise’ for its fifth sailing next year, and the lineup is enjoyably just what you’d expect.
Hitting the waters with Creed will quite a few familiar names from their heyday, like Breaking Benjamin, Drowning Pool, Hoobastank, Sevendust, Hinder, and more. Of course, the cruise will offer more than just these sonic delights, since other amenities include mini golf, go-karts, multiple hot tubs and waterslides up on the pool deck, a sports court, the Joy Club Casino, Mandara Spa, a fitness center, and hella bars and dining options.
The Summer of ’99 & Beyond Cruise will be held on a Norwegian Joy ship, sailing April 17-21, 2027 from Miami, Florida to Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas, which is apparently a private island where, if you purchase a drink package on the cruise, will apply to all-inclusive drinks on the Cay. You should note that if you want to galavant around the island excursion-style, you can’t book that until 4–6 prior to sailing.
Alumni pre-sales go live April 30-May 1 for the first round, and May 4-5 for the second. First round presale signups are available now through May 4 at 11:59 p.m. ET, and final round presale signups will end May 11 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Sales for us public peons start May 13 at 2 p.m. eastern on the cruise’s website exclusively, so don’t get fooled by purchasing them anywhere else. The first 850 cabins booked will get to pick from the following prices: an exclusive 30-minute Creed acoustic set; a photo with Creed; or a 30-minute Q&A with Breaking Benjamin (subject to availability).
Honestly, all three are worth it for booking early. That, and the fact that the cruise has sold out all of its other four sailings, so if you wanna go then make sure you pay attention! This one will probs go quick, too.
