Chris Brown’s ‘Sensational’ Debuts on Multiple Billboard Charts

Chris Brown’s latest single, “Sensational,” featuring Davido and Lojay, has made its debut on multiple Billboard charts in the week dated Nov. 4. 

The R&B-meets-Afrobeats bop opens at No. 5 on the R&B Digital Songs Sales chart, marking Brown’s 50th top 10 hit on this chart.

His recent top 10s on the R&B Digital Song Sales chart include:

  • How We Roll,” Ciara with Chris Brown, No. 1 peak (2023)
  • “Summer Too Hot,” No. 5 peak (2023)
  • “How Does It Feel,” Chlöe with Chris Brown, No. 7 peak (2023)
  • “Under the Influence,” No. 2 peak (2022)
  • “Iffy,” No. 4 peak (2022)
  • “WE (Warm Embrace),” No. 6 peak (2022)

Furthermore, “Sensational” debuts at No. 2 on the World Digital Song Sales chart. It’s Brown’s fifth top 10 hit on this list. It’s worth noting that “Sensational” is Brown’s seventh entry on this chart.

On the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales chart, “Sensational” eases in at No. 6 and No. 14 on Hot R&B Songs. It’s Brown’s 45th top 10 on the latter chart.

“Sensational” is the second single from Brown’s upcoming album, 11:11The two-part album is set to drop Nov. 11, with Side A releasing at 11 a.m. and Side B arriving at 11 p.m. Both parts will contain 11 tracks. 

Brown originally stated the album would contain 11 tracks in total as a way to make it more digestible for listeners. 

“I see Some of my die hard fans wanting me to add more songs for the new project and I love y’all for that. But, I just feel I need you all to really miss me and take my art seriously. IM JUST focused on giving y’all the best to digest. 11:11 make a wish,” Brown wrote on Instagram.

“Sensational” is the follow-up to Brown’s blazing track “Summer Too Hot,” released in June. The Roccstar and Gabriel Roland-produced tune reached No. 1 at rhythmic radio in September. 

Circling back to 11:11, Browth’s 11th album will follow 2022’s Breezy. The album debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart, notching Brown’s ninth top 10 entry.

A week after the album’s release, Brown issued Breezy (Deluxe), which included nine bonus tracks. Davido appeared on “Nobody Has To Know.” Meanwhile, Anderson .Paak was featured on “Inner Peace.”
